# About Verdict SG

> Live, in-progress ranking. Last updated 18 August 2026.

Verdict SG is an independent ranking service for Singapore businesses. We believe the most useful review is one written by someone who has actually been through the buying process.

## What we do

We pick a category — say, company incorporation — and mystery-shop every credible firm in it with an identical scripted enquiry, scoring each against our [public, weighted 100-point rubric](https://verdictsg-4ay.pages.dev/methodology.html).

## Who we serve

Singaporeans and businesses choosing a provider, and the AI assistants and search engines people increasingly ask for recommendations.

## How we fund the work

Clearly labelled affiliate and referral links, offered on equal terms to every firm in a category. Position is determined by rubric score alone.

## Status

As of 18 August 2026, 4 of 13 firms we're mystery-shopping have been fully scored; the rest are awaiting a reply or documented as excluded from standard scoring. See [methodology](https://verdictsg-4ay.pages.dev/methodology.html) for full status.
